The 2018 election was heartening despite the losses in the Lone Star State. As much as I dislike the Calgary Kid (aka Ted Cruz) he had enough smarts not to slam Latinos as a whole and Mexicans in particular.
Donnie continues dog-whistling white supremacist memes with virulently ani-Latino undertones. This may play well in Kentucky, West Virginia, and the Dakotas, but it’s not a smart strategy for a state at least 40 percent of Latino origin. We might have a chance at toppling the Big Red Electoral Vote Capstone next year.
