Hello Americans ...
I would like to introduce you to a good man. His name is Randall Olsen. He recently reached retirement age, but instead of going home he decided to take a shot at Congress and give the good people of the Illinois 16th district a choice on their ballot this coming November 4th, 2014.
Unfortunately the IL 16th was gerrymandered by the state party in control of the legislature of Illinois. Yes, thats right; the Democratic Party essentially gave this district to the Republicans. Well Mr. Olsen, thousands of Democrats in this district, and I see things differently.
We refuse to concede this seat to the current Tea Party sweetheart incumbent, no less than Wanda Rohl attempted two years ago. Anyways, I humbly believe Mr. Olsen would make a fine addition to the House of Representatives. However, because of the general sense of politics, especially where political parties are concerned most insiders and local leaders have pretty much written Randall off.
This is tragic and self perpetuating. While there has been some notice of Mr. Olsen by some elected members of the party, the establishment itself continues to ignore us. One member of the local Democratic Party in Winnebago County said, and I paraphrase Democrats should support Democrats no matter what. Isn't that the truth!
However, in the case of this Democrat, even Independents should be willing to support him any way they can. For more information on Randall Olsen or if youd like to give any financial support, please visit www.electrolsen.com. We also have a FB page andYou-Tubee channel.
