Just What Is This "Political Revolution" That Bernie Sanders Speaks Of?

Democratic Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders often talks about a "political revolution" in America, without spelling out exactly what that means.

Could the often ignored, and little known County Democratic Central Committee hold the key to reshaping the party on the local and national level?

Making Washington work for people, not corporations.

It's very simple, but also very radical in the current political environment.

Actually making that actually happen will take concerted effort, organization, definable goals, and mass participation.

For most politicians, it would be just a slogan. But Bernie means it.

Is where the people who have abandoned the political process, those who do not vote and have not voted for years, will now re emerge to support the voices that speak to their needs and concerns ...

I think it's quite possible to see a large groundswell of support from those grassroots ... The little guy who is struggling and cynical, might heed that call to come to the polls ...

I hope they do ....

Red State and other Conservative PACs used the structure of grass roots party organizations to corrupt historically Democratic offices for state and local government positions. This over time lead to gerrymandering and enough House and Senate seats to stop Government in it tracks. This has been hastened by the Supreme Court's ruling in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commision, which allowed dark money from beyond a states borders to influence the outcomes of primary and general election results. Bernies revolution is a call for voters to end the PAC domination of Congress which will in return make to progressive platform less than a forelorn hope.
