(69,059 posts)Sometimes, saying you're not advocating is just empty words to C.Y.A.

(36,186 posts)And it is a campaign, and people should be allowed to discuss the campaign in the Campaign Group.
People, as I strongly pointed out above, should refrain from advocating for a third party candidate.

(12 posts)I feel like I'm watching a magic trick. While our attention is being misdirected by the republican primary circus. Our house and senate are being stolen by Grover norquist and his army of influence peddlers. He was on tv the other day bragging about expanding "THEIR" lead in the house thru redistricting. And taking the senate by passing voter restriction laws. With controle of those two bodies and the influence they already have on the supream court, it doesn't matter who wins the whit house. Actualy , I believe they look forward to tearing appart the rest of the middle class, with health care legislation writen by insurance co's, tax codes writen by the Koch bro's, and energy policy dictated by the oil cartels.
I HAVE WRITEN TO EVERY TALKING HEAD ON MSNBC, senator Clair Mccaskill, and even asked Michael Moore to spread th word. No one answered! How do I get the conversation started. The only way to stop this, is to expose what's going on. Please tweet or something to help sound the alarm.

(1,068 posts)I did advocate that Ron Paul run 3rd Party, but did so knowing that his entry into the race would split the tea party vote from the less repulsive moderate vote, ensuring Obama's handy win. I believe that we can advocate for 3rd party runs WHEN THEY HURT THE REPUBLICANS, and in this case, it would be very optimal for our side.
Since it's too late, Ron Paul cannot get into the race, and I'm going to advocate a reward for anyone who can legally and publicly derail Mitt Romney's campaign, or severely hamper it to the point where he cannot be electable. I suggest a 20 million dollar bonanza for the courageous person or group to pull this off.
