What is Joe Neguse likely to do? Run for the US Senate or Remain in the US House to become Speaker?
Neguse is currently the Chairman of the US House Democratic Policy and Communications Committee(The number 6 position in the US House Democratic Leadership.) In 2024, Democrats will remain control of the US House of Representatives.
Hakeem Jeffries-NY becomes Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Katherine Clark-MA becomes House Majority Leader.
Jim Clyburn-SC who is expected to be House Majority Whip retires from the House Democratic leadership like Pelosi-CA and Hoyer-MD did last year. Neguse gets the House Majority Whip position. Neguse becomes Speaker of House of Representatives after Jeffries and Clark retires.
Neguse runs for the US Senate in 2032 or 2034 when Hickenlooper or Bennet retire.
