Furniture polish?

What's a good furniture polish to use for every day use that won't leave an oily residue behind,
so someone can sit on it,
and it won't get on their clothes?

My husband loves it. However, we don't use it on chairs. You'd have to rub very well, I think it IS somewhat oily.
