Explain something to me about Reddit.

I sometimes link one of my posts here or at Daily Kos there. My username is different than what I have here. I gave up on the education forum. a message warning about being a spammer always pops up.

I can usually post in politics, but when I tried tonight it said I had posted too much lately. It's been days.

Anybody understand that site better than I do? Cause I don't.

You have posted too much lately, try back again in an hour. And I get that sometimes after days of not posting. It also adds a warning about spamming, but it doesn't seem to apply to just me at all. Still it won't let me post.

In politics, it usually posts okay, but yestereday it kept saying I posted too much try again in an hour. I had not posted for days.

I would try logging out and back in at reddit.

If that does not help, you need to ask the question over at reddit.

When I still used a satellite internet service with a "download booster" I had to disable it to use just about anything on the internet. What it was was a proxy that made everyone that used that provider (Hughesnet) look like the same person, so an IP ban for one was an IP ban for all.

They really don't want you to promote your stuff. I have done it with DU and Dkos for several years. It has been 9 days since I posted...still getting the "you are posting too much try again in an hour" thingy.

Here's a link to what they consider spam. That is so picky it would hardly be worth it to play guessing games.
