Annoying Google Earth problem

Sometimes it works, most times it doesn't. By not working, I mean it'll launch no problem but when I enter a place and hit search it doesn't "fly" to the location; No response. There's no rhyme or reason that makes it so, and so, I can't tell if it's my PC or the GE server.

Thanks.

It almost does sound like a server or streaming issue. PrestonLocke Mar 2014 #3

When I enter a place, the form fill tries to anticipate, plus other items show with the same words. The "globe" shows, with a small transluscent oval spot in the center of it, plus there are large red curved arrows on either side of it. Whenever I see these I know it won't work; hitting the search and nothing happens.
