Anybody know of any software, free or not, that you could recommend to restore data from a flash

A relative had some files get corrupted on a flash drive.

Looking around on the Net, I came across Piriform Recuva. Anyone had experience with it?

but have not actually used it. I hear good stuff about it though.

The few times I needed to recover some images from my Lexar cards, I used Lexar's software since I had it already.
