precisely because of this problem
But last night, I forgot and started a huge download with Chrome. And, of course, after 12 hours, it stalled about 0.1 gigabyte short of completion. Did I want to restart the whole thing? Hull, no. I ran through this procedure instead

But Firefox addons/extnsions are just great. There are some that I don't think I could live without. Stupid stuff but still great.
