Maybe that will help. Scale would let you size the pages or as they demonstrate, change to landscape mode.

In Firefox use Print Preview under the File menu. In that dialog you can adjust the percentage from over 100% to as low as 1%. What may have happened is that the percentage got set to a low value which even when you don't use Print Preview will size everything you print to very small.

In the Print Preview you can also use the Settings to select things to add to the page - for instance I have it put the URL, page title and date on most pages especially for research information. That way I know when and where I got it and have the title in case the URL is truncated.

I use Print Preview and CutePDF (http://www.cutepdf.com/) to create PDFs. Then I can preview the PDF to make sure the sizes are correct. A lot of the things I want from the internet I save as PDFs using CutePDF. CutePDF shows up in your printer dialog so you can pick it as a different place to "print."

150% and shifted the right side clear off the page. 100% worked for my airline itinerary but I think I can get away with 90% or so.

But I try to keep it set at 100% as the default. I've saved a lot of paper by using Print Preview - that way I can make sure that the pages will print correctly.

I wish it would let you print a range of pages but that is what you can do with printing to PDF. Then if there is an article I want to print but I don't want to print the comments following it I can check where they start and not print those pages.
