Outlook data export/import question

I'm about to move stuff over to my new computer and will be exporting all my outlook email, calendar entries etc.
There are a multitude of options...I've done it before using comma seperated values(windows) but also ready to do it using Personal Filed Folder(.pst)
Is there any difference?

just copy the OST and PST files from the old computer to the new one.
Then on the new computer, just point Outlook to the old files.
