How can we tell if we can't see your example?

Not seeing any problems here.

Twitter images are tricky. You can post the link, but for me it shows up as a broken image but if I then right click for "open image in new tab" I can see the image.

There was a way I knew of to edit a twitter image link and get it to show directly.

But I've never been prevented from posting a link.
