Imac to facebook?

All of suddenly I can't upload photos from my iMac to Facebook, anybody know what the deal is?

A little more info. I recently upgraded to Yosemite (10.10.5) and as a result iPhoto went away and Photos showed up. I took some photos yesterday I wanted to share, but just cannot load those photos to Facebook.

What I do is go to photos and drag the photos to the desktop (They will just be copied there) LiberalArkie Mar 2016 #1
Thanks, I'll give that a try. BarbaRosa Mar 2016 #2

It took me a while to trust that it would not move the pictures from iPhoto/photos LiberalArkie Mar 2016 #4

and then in Facebook I can select them to upload. I do not think the Facebook knows anything about the Photos app.

but OS X is smart enough to know that you really just want to copy and not move.
