Does Senator Sanders quietly fade into the background after Hillary enters the White House or is there a role for him in Hillary's cabinet?
Secretary of Education? Secretary of Labor? Head of the Environmental Protection Agency?
Or would he pose too many problems for Hillary because he's too outspoken over issues that they disagree on?

(58,785 posts)HHS has nearly 80,000 employees working in a bunch of agencies. But my guess is he wouldn't want any of them.
Sanders says he plans to continue his "revolution," and I think we should believe he considers that an extremely important mission. If he can embarrass and harass Congress into being more representative of the people, and shine a spotlight on business and black money influence, that will be a great contribution.
In any case, between that and being a U.S. senator, he'll be more than busy.

(1,214 posts)Not that I think any sitting Democrat should leave office to work in our current climate. If Clinton supporters are correct about having a shot at taking back the House and Senate, we should keep as many in office as possible to hedge against conserva-dems who "have to" side with the NRA or RW religious nut-bags to retain their office.
