They did elect Tim Scott, but is that less representative of a wider acceptance than that he was Republican?

2. A Republican. I can't for the life of me even attempt to decipher

why oh why is such a no doubt intelligent person as this guy not a Democrat.

What on earth is the attraction of a body such as this Tim Scott to the reptilican party. It boggles the mind.
