Pastor delivers God’s State of the Union: Obama follows Satan and Jesus can fix the debt

Pastor Steven Andrew on Tuesday night delivered “God’s State of the Union” address in response to President Barack Obama’s speech to the nation.

The conservative pastor of USA Christian Ministries called on Americans to serve the God of the Bible rather than false gods if they wished to receive his blessings and see their nation’s prosperity restored.

“We want to seek God with all of our heart and soul,” Andrew said. “We want to obey the Holy Bible with all of our heart and soul, and we want Jesus as our king. This is how you restore God’s blessings. People like Barack Obama have a totally different vision of America. His vision is to follow Satan.”

It is clear Obama is following Satan, according to the pastor, because he is openly encouraging “homosexual sin” and violating God’s unalienable rights “by forcing people to have death panels.”

Poor delusional man.

He spoke so many falsehoods, as if they were facts.

Sad, very sad.

... Since Republicans, Democrats and Independents favor Christian front runner Ron Paul, denominations, pastors and Christians should obey Scripture and call for Ron Paul to be President. Paul beat Obama in polling and Romney didn’t ... Christians agree the most with Paul ... Christian Ron Paul obeys the Constitution, will cut the deficit and will bring back liberty ... Lord Christopher Monckton (former adviser to Margaret Thatcher), Sheriff Arpaio and numerous experts have confirmed that Barack Obama has given an undeniably forged birth certificate. Tampering with a birth certificate is a crime. Giving a fake birth certificate is a crime. Obama has committed several other crimes, including breaking the law with DOMA, the War Powers Act, allowing Mexicans 70 miles into Arizona, not acting in the USA’s interests ...

I'd launch into a diatribe of his crimes, but you probably are already quite knowledgable there so I'll save my breath.

Those voting guides are going to cause a lot of churches to lose their tax exempt status, and it can't happen soon enough to suit me. Even though I'm a cradle RC temporarily visiting the local UMC, where I've warned them they're going to bring the righteous wrath of the ACLU down on their deserving heads. Yes, that almost invariably falls on deaf ears and gets me chewed out for a heretic sometimes.

Though I am pleased to see the recent arrival of a younger pastor who seems free of such idiocy. He also stresses that everyone's invited to participate in appropriate groups because he knows what a bunch of xenophobic geese most of these MidWesterners are. There are a precious few members of existing groups who've even made a point to invite me individually, and I've thanked them from the bottom of my heart; but also had to tell them there are enough in the other camp that all hell would break loose if I tried to participate. I've already been sternly warned, including by the previous pastor!

The bible is a really, really long, very complicated book with LOTS of big words and complex and contradictory ideas. Pastor Andrew and many of his buddies have never actually read or studied the bible. They are "guided" through the bible by other buddies, who also never really read the bible, much less understood it.

They are all spouting crap that isn't even in the bible. Jesus would not want to be king of America. Just sayin'.

And Pastor Andrew didn't do well in his history class either. The founding fathers were NOT Christians.

Jesus said his kingdom was not of this world. And the founding fathers at best were deists. Thomas Jefferson referred to Christianity as the most stupid religion possible.

The rightwingers are bibliolators and self-worshippers; they worship their own beliefs and a book they don't begin to understand. If Jesus appeared before them and they knew it was him but he told them to clean up their act, they'd stone him w/o batting an eye. They certainly don't seem to know what he said about Pharasaic heresy.

The crazy never stops, does it?
