Our most important export will always be American ideals and values, striving for the expansion of individual rights over those rights "derived" from the State.
And in the interchanges with Castro, President Obama reminds us we "strive for progress, not perfection!"
How time has marched on.
President Obama pointed out, since the 1959 revolution, who could have imagined two Cuban-Americans contesting a presidential election against a woman and a democratic socialist, after an African-American presidency!
