Watch DNC Convention Live Here:

http://www.c-span.org/DNC/Live/

They are filling up with other things before more happens, but still are talking about the convention and doing interviews.

There are also here, thanks to doublethink who found these links:

PBS NewsHour DNC Super Channel

http://www.ustream.tv/schannel/PBSNewsHour/channel/pbs-newshour-streaming-3

That has a beautiful overhead view.

YouTube Democratic National Convention by an official channel

http://www.youtube.com/user/DemConvention2012

There are other videos on the same page to show other interesting things. Enjoy.

doublethink has found even more links, including a Twitter feed for those who can use that. Here's the link in case doublethink finds more ways:

4. You're welcome. I found the Youtube best until they stalled from traffic. Then switched to CSPAN.

So change them out if it's not working or the content's not good. CSPAN was talking too much at first, so I went with YT until they overloaded. Now they're talking to themselves again which isn't interesting, and they are a bit right wing now.

Wow! Dems know how to pick keynoters! I was sooooo lucky to have caught Senator Obama's keynote speech (on tv) opening the DNC for Kerry. Now THAT was a speech. I recall while listening to it that this man should be running instead of Kerry.
When Oprah Winfrey came out shortly afterwords showing her support for Obama, I got my first inkling of hope. She pushed hard to get him to consider throwing his hat into the ring.......and then just like magic, he did! The rest is history, and an ongoing history if we have anything to say about it.

Thank you for the links. I have no cable for my TV, no access to the airwaves at all. This so called 'Smart' Phone is my sole link to the internets. I have to watch my video viewing time because that costs extra if I run over but I should be OK if I pick and choose who to watch. VP Biden is tops of that list for tomorrow. Thanks again.

Just re-read your comments, apologies from misreading them (went backwards after promising to be more positive ). Thanks for your complements. You and others have said that better than most.

Sincerest apologies for misreading your post, and apologies to the Obama, Kerry groups and fellow Dems who are out there on the front lines. (Trying to get out there myself too!

Thank you for sharing your experience.

13. HELP! I missed the name, and can't find the woman who spoke earlier yesterday.

She was telling the story of her dad. He was a coal miner and when and the miners would began and ended their work day, they had card or makers, to see who made it back up and out.

His number was 720. She kept repeating that number thorughout her talk and told a lot about how his example of working hard for his family inspired her to go into political life.

I think she thanked the public school system for her education, the food stamp program and the Pell Grant for college in helping her achieve her goals. I was moved as it sounded like my family.

But the feed from Youtube was stalling with over 190,000 viewers watching it, and I didn't catch her name. I thought she was in Colorado, but have googled several places today to find her and the video, which has not been posted here.

If anyone else listened to her and can remember her name or the video link, I'd appreciate it!

TIA!
