quote was not so hot English-wise, but who cares? It's probably not Peres' first language.

I was just having fun. I guess I'm a little troubled by this whole Iran is the root of all evil thing. I think we go to the point that now seems likely it will not end well for either side. I can think of other scenarios that work much better. I think both sides are posturing and that is very unfortunate as the posturing itself may lead to war. We need to think of a way for the other side to save face while still conceding the point.

while he may be posturing for Israel, he will try any way in his power to avoid it. Maybe his new relationship with Netanyahu is a way for the Israelis to save face? Or I'm blowing smoke. It could happen! Thanks, jimlup.

he thinks things through.

Remember this?, babylonsister....patience, grasshopper!

Procrastination is not what it seems...What looks from the outside like our delay; our lack of commitment; even our laziness may have more to do with a slow, necessary ripening through time and the central struggle with the realities of any endeavor to which we have set our minds. To hate our procrastinating tendencies is in some way to hate our relationship with time itself, to be unequal to the phenomenology of revelation and the way it works its own way in its own gifted time, only emerging when the qualities it represents have a firm correspondence in our necessarily struggling heart and imagination.

for late-night and stand-up comedians. At least with Bush ll, he didn't think before he spoke. He was (unintentionally) funny because he said something crazy every day.
