Dumb Criminals: Cowboys Fan Asks Judge To Wear Tony Romo Jersey During Double Homicide Trial

While there have been plenty of ways Cowboys fans have paid tribute to quarterback Tony Romo since he retired a couple months ago, this one takes the cake for strangest.

Thomas Randolph, a Las Vegas man accused of hiring a hitman to kill his sixth wife -- yes, sixth -- and then killing the hitman, has requested the right to wear a Tony Romo jersey to his trial, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

What's up with that request? Randolph's lawyer put it simply: "Because he's a Cowboys fan."

Randolph, 62, shouldn't hold his breath on getting that request granted. The jersey would have to be processed through the jail as part of his trial wardrobe, according to the Review-Journal.
