Or stick a little postet next to you in the car. Quickly you will become used to carrying your own bags into the store.

the baggers always use them first. ??? And I have the reusable bags inside another slightly bigger reusable bag and the baggers usually pull them all out and when finished hand me back a messy stack of the bags instead of the bag with some bags in it. first thing we need to do is educate the baggers!!

The checkout people in my grocery store get happy when they see me or anyone else with reusable bags.

I remember when one of them said, "It is my turn to check her out. I like her bags." She said that it was fun to figure out how to pack things in my bags. It broke the monotony, too.

I can see them becoming collector items!

I must say that here in southern Ontario, I very rarely ever see grocery store shoppers without their own bags. And in smaller shops where people buy one or two items, usually they say "Don't bother with a bag", or else the clerk says "Do you need a bag?" So it's all catching on, thank goodness, except in clothing stores......

I always carried my stuff around in freebie shopping bags with advertisements featuring condoms and vaginal cream, like monistat. Never bothered me. Actually, I was kind of proud.
