Police: Man Tossed Needles in Best Buy During Chase.
GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. —
A Gwinnett County man remains in jail after police say he dropped open syringes in the middle of a big store as he ran from police.
Witnesses say 27-year-old Kyle Roubaud flipped his SUV and then fled, dropping needles as he ran inside a Best Buy store near Buford Drive at Woodward Crossing Boulevard. Some of the caution tape remains up from when the accident occurred next to the Mall of Georgia on Sunday afternoon.
Witnesses say when Roubaud got out, he ran. Investigators say it was likely because of the meth-related drug items in the truck and in his pockets.
Police say he tossed one of the needles in the toy aisle of the store.
