AZ(Sinema-D)- Race depends on which party carries the state at the Presidential level and the Republican nominee.
MT(Tester-D)- Gianforte-R is the only Republican that will give Tester-D an easy race.

(111,296 posts)1. I suspect that Ted Cruz will be running for president in 2024.
If Trump wins, then he is term-limited. If a Democrat wins in 2020, then it sets up an adversarial campaign which caters to Cruz's strengths.
The only things that would keep Cruz from running is if a Republican other than Trump wins in the 2020 general election or a health concern within his family.
