Dems fear their primary has reached danger zone

Source: The Hill, by Niall Stanage and Amie Parnes

Positive campaigner my big butt!

The Vermont senator has long drawn contrasts between himself and Clinton, but his attacks have grown more caustic of late, particularly with regard to the former first lady’s links to big financial companies.

At a huge rally in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park on Sunday, Sanders said a speech Clinton gave to Goldman Sachs must have been delivered in “Shakespearean prose,” given the $225,000 fee she received.

He was equally scathing during last week’s debate when Clinton insisted that, during her time as a New York senator, she had “called out” banks for poor mortgage practices.

“Secretary Clinton called them out. Oh my goodness, they must have been really crushed by this,” Sanders responded. “And was that before or after you received huge sums of money by giving speaking engagements? So they must have been very, very upset by what you did.”

1. How much did his Shakespearean 10 minute uninvited speech in the Vatican cost?

I want the transcripts! Oh wait, I really don't!

2. Sanders is destroying what little good will he has left among real Ds.

I have never seen such a tone deaf, self-absorbed political campaign.

4. He's already left NY. So much for facing up to his obligations.

Coward. All talk. With even one more senate seat, he won't be needed at all.

5. This is what they get for allowing a sworn Independent Socialist to run under the Dem Party banner.

Chaos.

Sanders has not proven to be an asset for the Democratic Party in any which way. His goal was to tea-party the Democratic Party since he wouldn't get any traction as a Liberty Party candidate or Green Party candidate, for that matter.

I continue to say that it was big mistake by the DNC to allow him to run as a Democrat, especially when they know he's despised Democrats and the Democratic Party since the 1980's.

6. He was saying this last week, last month, last year. He has 1 stump

And it's always been an attack on Dems. The Hill just decided to notice because it fits their narrative. If gop is splintering, Dems have to also because Both Sides Do It.

Even though Hillary beats Trump and Cruz, and polls say that millenials will go for her overwhelmingly.

11. But he won't go away....

...and that's the problem. He knows he can't win but he will continue to beat the drum, calling the Democratic Party corrupt and Hillary compromised and unworthy of the office. He's become dangerous and if he and his surrogates don't turn down the vitriol I think we're going to have a problem.

I'm starting to get worried about the damage he's doing....he won't go away if Karl Rove and The NRA keep sending him money.
