(3,733 posts)Left me with that same icky feeling I get if I'm out somewhere and Rush Limbaugh is playing on the radio.
Those guys are just circle jerking each other.
Mostly the same 7-10 posters giving made up examples of younger voters they know who
if Bernie doesn't win will vote for Trump.
Reminds me of being 10 years old and the exploits of that mythical rebel " A friend of my cousins who lives in a different town"
"This friend of my cousin, the one who lives in a different town. He blew up from eating pop rocks and drinking Pepsi"
The old uncheckable claim.
These people are most probably left overs from the Ron Paul revolution
all of those entitled Liberatarion fellows had to go somewhere.
As the father of 2 millineal daughters who both voted for Bernie in the primary, as did most of their friends.
I can add my own claims that my daughters and all of their friends will be voting for Hillary in November.
On a positive note. I hope that thread keeps them contained in one place.

(3,580 posts)Perhaps I've been giving Bernie too much credit. Clearly he hasn't gotten his message across if his supporters could vote for trump or maybe they know something we don't know.
sarae
(3,284 posts)that several of them keep mentioning a desire to "punish" Hillary. In effect, they're willing to cast a vote just to punish her. Is that where we're at now? I guess women aren't done being punished until the men say so.

(3,284 posts)they should go ahead and change the name of their group to the Donald Trump group? I don't see a difference at this point. Bernie's obviously not going to be the Dem nominee, so I guess they're saying they support Trump now.
sarae
(3,284 posts)and they use the standard party line I've heard a million times when someone mentions POC or women...something to the effect of not buying into "fear-mongering" etc., etc. Can they at least come up with a new reason for throwing minorities under the bus?

(3,284 posts)For them, life probably wouldn't change under Trump. Even if there's only a slim chance that Trump could pass any of his policies, wouldn't a true progressive not want to take that risk? They claim to be so anti-war, but suddenly they'd be ok with a president who wants to kill the innocent families of terrorists?
As a Hispanic woman with immigrant parents, the thought of a Trump presidency scares the shit out of me. I really hope we're not headed that way.
