1. Excellent article every Hillary supporter should read
I think she explains how a lot of Hillary supporters on this site feel about Sanders and why we feel that way.
Thanks to Fresh_Start for sharing it with us. |

5. Every Sanders supporter should read it, too.
Not that they would. Don't want to burst any bubbles.

2. Rhetoric vs reality
She touches on one of the things that have bugged me about his rhetoric. When he's asked how he's going to convince Congress, etc., to support his agenda, he often mentions the bully pulpit (and, often, little more).
Now, granted, the bully pulpit of the president is more influential than that of a senator, but if you haven't been successful in convincing your colleagues to co-sponsor your legislation in your couple-decade Congressional career, it takes a rather significant leap of faith to expect you'll be able to do so with the same people as president. That's not pessimism. It's reality. |

6. She pretty much described my own journey.
This was long, but good.

7. SDs: "Tad Devine, his campaign’s senior advisor, had a role in that (SD) process."
"Ironically, Tad Devine, Sanders' top adviser, who was instrumental in the creation of the superdelegate process, defended their existence."
I somehow missed that. Too funny. "It's pretty hard to win a nomination in a contested race and almost impossible to win without the superdelegeates," Devine said in 2008 in an interview on NPR.
