http://www.politico.com/story/2016/05/trumps-campaign-dwarfed-by-clintons-223438Through the end of last month, the period covered by the most recent FEC filings, Trumps campaign had spent less than a third as much Clintons ($57 million to $182 million) and had assembled a staff about one-tenth the size of her (70 employees to 732), with a fraction as many offices (Trump last month paid $101,000 in rent vs. $328,000 for Clinton), the analysis found.
Yet Clintons campaign appeared to be preparing for the general election, spending far less than Sanders, whose $207 million in total spending marks him as the cycles biggest spender. He continued spending briskly in April, dropping $38.6 million, as compared to $23.9 million for Clinton. Sanders spent almost twice as much as Clinton on media and payroll (despite a slightly smaller staff), as well as more on online advertising and direct mail.
As a result, Sanders entered this month with only $5.8 million in the bank, compared to Clintons $30 million.

(10,005 posts)run scrolls about Trump at the bottom of the screen, cover his events live, and then talk about him. Some days you wouldn't even know there were other candidates.

As for trump.. he's spending all his own money.. no one feels like throwing their money @ him?
Anyway.. trump gets free advertising from the media who then in turn apparently make money off of him because he has no filter and he's vulgar.

(25,342 posts)is to outspend his opponent, most notably throwing money around in states he was never going to win anyway. The management of his campaign has been abysmal.
I've noticed that the new defense of his campaign's mismanagement is that this is the first time Sanders has done this. Granted, he hasn't run a national campaign, but he's been around national politics for a couple of decades. Plus, Devine has lots of experience in mismanaging campaigns.
