Thank you, GOP, for destroying yourself and making Trump the nom.

He will be the easiest of all to beat. The Democratic leadership had been hoping all along it would be Trump. He will alienate all but white hacks and racists, and the rest of the REAL America, the beautiful melting pot which is now the majority, will vote Hillary. The small percent who write in a candidate will still be irrelevant, and the #nevertrumpers are welcome! Bye GOP! You had a good run! Historians will now tell the tale of how the tea party took its own party behind the shed and put it out of its misery.

By the way, GOP, the term is "Madam President." Best to start practicing.

1. I think "destroyed" is the wrong word for the Republican control of both Houses of Congerss and a

very large number of State Governments.

2. What I mean is, the GOP is eating itself from the inside

Trump is not a traditional conservative. He's not even a conservative. He may be starting what is the end of the GOP. A fractured party without an identity. Yes they currently have control of congress, but how long can it last when your party no longer has an identity, and women, Hispanics, and African Americans now see the party for what it really is? Those 3 groups are the majority now. He has pulled the curtain back and really damaged the brand among these demographics. More so than before. And I thank him for that.

3. I perceive it as they don't care if it is Hillary or Trump. This campaign had done nothing that will

change their State and Congressional level of power.

The DNC doesn't even bother running candidates in some districts, like my California Congressional District 1 and that is much worse in red states.

The conservatives loved the results from Bill Clinton's term and will be fine with Hillary's as well.

I hate thinking that, but that is how bad this all is, this year.

4. I don't think you've read the many articles by

Political experts explaining why the GOP is in real trouble over this nominee. I hear what you're saying. and it's by no means assured. But what has happened in the GOP is historic and it truly is putting the GOP at risk of extinction.

I can find an article later if you'd like.

7. That is true, It is safe to say I not only don't read the political propaganda, I work to avoid it.

I do notice what is going on they don't mention.

No one in control of the
Republican party is upset, except from the side that lost control and that a firm accomplishment soon after the 2012 election.

There were one or two interviews, but I don't think there were any articles about it specifically.

8. It isn't propaganda.

The fact that you label things that disagree with your perspective propaganda is a bit scary.

14. I knew there was something off about you in this group

Took me about 30 seconds to find this quote from you in another thread:

"I have never been a Hillary Clinton supporter"

Makes your cynicism crystal clear. You don't like the Clintons and don't want them to win. You ridiculously equate the republican unity of the 90s with the newly fractured GOP under Trump because you want Hillary to fail. That's what the human mind does when it hates someone; it overlooks reason and reality to reach its desired conclusion. In your case since you dislike Hillary the desired outcome is that Hillary will fail and America will pay for voting her in.

Case in point, this quote from you above: "The conservatives loved the results from Bill Clinton's term and will be fine with Hillary's"

And posting this thread that accuses Hillary of being a liar in the headline and then pretends it is merely a study in human behavior.

Your Hillary hate is subtle so you've flown under the radar up to now. But I predict you'll be banned from the group quite soon.

In your world, your assessment of things is all there is, or all you'll let yourself see.

13. And btw, comparing the republicans of the 90s

with the fractured party under Trump is ridiculous to anyone who follows politics. Educate yourself and quit with the cynicism.

5. You are right! Trump has made it very clear what the GOP stands for!

and women, Hispanics, and African Americans now see the party for what it really is

He gave away all the dirty GOP secrets: racism, sexism, hate-ism, small-minded-ism, religion-ism! suprema-cism! fascism! and forgot the KaKaka-ism!

TRUMP & the GOP ~ NOT wearing ANY damn clothes!

19. Yep, Trump scares me BUT

I do like that he's put away the dogwhistles and brought out the bullhorns. Of course the scary part is how many Americans hear the bullhorns and like what they hear.

If you're racist which would you enjoy better? ~going around the bush or letting it rip! Probably strong racists feel FREER than ever! Thanks to Trump! Ergo their love. support and loyalty to the BIG RACIST BULLHORN!

15. I really hope that the majority of Americans are smart enough to see through his bluster.

I wish I had more confidence...but seeing how people blindly support both Trump and Sanders, two candidates with absolutely no coherent plans to support their promises, it makes one think that anything could happen.

16. I don't think you have to worry this time.

How does he win without women, Hispanics, and African Americans?

And now that Gary Johnson has arrived to siphon off more votes from Trump, there's a lot going in Hillary's favor.
