Shooting at UCLA prompts campus lockdown

Two people were injured in a shooting at UCLA on Wednesday morning, prompting a massive response from local and federal law enforcement, according to a police and university spokespersons.

“Two people were shot,” said University Spokesman Tod Tamberg.

The campus was placed on lock down just after 10 a.m., as police searched for the gunman, according to the university.

Or that Sanders voted for a bill supported by the NRA to stop lawsuits against gun companies?

Its going to be tough to not be seen as playing politics with a tragedy. And not much time left in the campaign. I suspect she will tweet out some generic statement expressing condolences but not much more.

But if the reporters will. Then again, I was amazed this morning that neither Blitzer nor Andrea Mitchell asked Jane about the taxes and Burlington College.

True, and what gets me about that line is that it always is used when an another example of gun violence is right in front of our faces
I'm so tired of people hiding behind the "you're making it political!" to prevent people from pointing out reality and having honest debate about how to handle the issue.

People will certainly say let them at least have some days of peace before making it "political".

My issue is with those whose entire purpose of saying that isn't concern for the people who lost loved ones , its because they will use try and prevent any discussion at all , at any time, using feigned concern over these families who are no doubt suffering, until the newest story comes along and changes the subject. This has been done over and over again with every publicized shooting.
