Sanders jabs at Clinton's foreign policy credentials following speech (HRC GP)

Bernie Sanders took a swipe at Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy credentials on Thursday in the wake of her speech attacking Donald Trump’s proposals.

"I agree with Secretary Clinton that Donald Trump's foreign policy ideas are incredibly reckless and irresponsible,” Sanders said in a statement. “But when it comes to foreign policy, we cannot forget that Secretary Clinton voted for the war in Iraq, the worst foreign policy blunder in modern American history, and that she has been a proponent of regime change, as in Libya, without thinking through the consequences.”
On Thursday, Clinton gave a speech that took Trump to task for his temperament and foreign policy proposals that she believes makes him unfit for the presidency.

“Donald Trump’s ideas aren’t just different; they are dangerously incoherent,” she said. “They aren’t even really ideas, just a series of bizarre rants, personal feuds and outright lies.”

Sanders has taken issue with Clinton’s own foreign policy, routinely blasting her for her early Iraq War support and her praise of Henry Kissinger, another former secretary of State.

In his statement on Thursday, Sanders added, "We need a foreign policy based on building coalitions and making certain that the brave American men and women in our military do not get bogged down in perpetual warfare in the Middle East. That's what I will fight for as president."

On the day that the eventual nominee gives a barn burning speech that just tears the republican opponent to shreds, the also-ran immediately tries to undercut for next to no political gain. He's not going to be the nominee. He's not going to win CA in the margin that he needs. This is just a petty shot by someone who is losing and attempting to burn down the Democratic party with him.

Bernie Sanders should not be delivering Trump's response.

The fact is that a lot of criticisms Clinton leveled at Trump also apply to Sanders. He doesn't have the temperament to be president. What foreign policies will he screw up when he loses his temper?

When he hears keywords, it automatically launches one of his scripts.

"Foreign Policy" => "She voted for the war in Iraq."

"Tax returns" => "We haven't seen the transcripts of her speeches to Wall Street."

Random words => "Millionaires and billionaires" "An economy that works not just for the 1%" "$15 per hour" "Break up the big banks" etc. etc.

So true. Easy to be perfect when you've never had the actual experience of making those decisions or done it from the backbench. Personally, I'm getting tired of saying, 'yes, I realize HRC is not perfect.' As if St Bernard is. As if any of us are. To hear Bernie tell it, HRC was the prime mover and shaker with that Iraq vote. Get a grip, Bernie. George W. Bush brought us Iraq and a whole lot more.

Can't wait until Tuesday and this damn primary season is over and out.
.
Btw, thought Hillary found the sweet spot in her speech today. Best one she's given while slicing and dicing The Donald into a thousand tiny pieces. Beautiful thing to watch.

but it was the Bush Administration the pressed the button and send millions of soldiers to die. They are trying to act like Clinton pushed the button herself and also Bush had a majority Republican and both houses, he could have gotten us in Iraq either with or without her vote. I read somewhere that she did not directly vote for military use against Iraq, it was for more of a diplomatic approach before using force.
