Michael Caputo Out At Trump Campaign After Sending Mean Tweet About Lewandowski (HRC GP)

A whole six hours ago, an adviser and head of the communications for Donald Trump’s caucus operations team named Michael Caputo responded to new of Corey Lewandowski‘s firing as campaign manager by tweeting, “Ding dong the witch is dead!” He capped it off with a shot of the iconic Wizard of Oz scene that shows the Wicked Witch’s feet peeking out from under a house. Classy!

Now, he’s gotten the boot from the campaign, too.

According to CNN, he wrote a letter to chairman Paul Manafort and right-hand-man Rick Gates that said this:

I regret sending out a tweet today alluding to the firing of Corey Lewandowski. In hindsight, that was too exuberant a reaction to this personnel move. I know this is a distraction from the kind of campaign you want to run, so I’m resigning my position as director of communications for caucus operations at the 2016 Republican Convention. Let’s make this immediate.

Seriously, what is going on at the Trump campaign?

stupid assertions, lies, projections, exaggerations, threats, shrieks, and very old blind bats come out.

We need a book like Bushism but titled Trumpisms like his new adjective or adverb: "Bigly"

Trump has built his campaign on being unconventional and being unfiltered. So does Trump now demand that his staff follow conventional rules about watching what they say in public? For a general election campaign, are the rules so strong that unconventional candidates must follow them, because there is a broader population they must appeal to?

so when Caputo reacted with the tweet, it became a negative and therefore out of Trump's control. Trump wants to control the narrative. It's all about him and his unconventionality, not someone else's unconventionality. We barely hear peep from Christie and even Trump's family. Trump approves a few unconventional surrogates but that's about it.
