The US is loaded with people just like that. That's how we ended up with two terms of W.

as though the choice between candidates was Dalai Lama vs Mussolini.

However, Bertrand Russell said that those who see the world as black and white are capable of having only two options. Those who can see it as a spectrum of grey have millions of options.

have not seen anything positive as a candidate, especially as a presidential candidate. We have to vote and elect Hillary.

live with the consequences. Worst yet! The entire continent will have to live with his/her consequences, and it's going to be painful.

A "protest vote" is a dishonest vote and can result in precisely this kind of unintended outcome. If you have two choices, A and B, and you believe A is a better choice than B, then you should vote for A. Voting for B in the hope of making some sort of point is stupid and childish.

If you want to protest against something, then by all means, go out and protest. Write to your representatives; write to the president; write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper or of the newspaper of record of your country. Stand outside the White House carrying a sign. The voting booth is not the place to hold a protest.

(By "you", I obviously don't mean you personally, Walk away.)

has anyone noticed that the Brexit issue here on DU seems to be another way for some people to continue to surreptitiously attack Hillary? I keep seeing thread after thread (in GD) arguing in favor of the 'Leave' side by using supporting arguments that also attack Clinton and Dems, in a roundabout way. Insults like 'neoliberal' and '3rd Wayers' continue to be used, this time to attack the 'Remain' side (when we all saw that they were previously used for Clinton et al).
