I cannot believe the hatred for Hillary on these pages

The most recent is "accusing" her supporters that they support her because she is a woman.

Never mind the condescending, misogynistic tone of these posts. They have been on DU forever.

But they never had a problem with all Obama supporters, in 2008, who came out and clearly said they supported him because he was black.

I was amazed how many women, back in 2008, across the country, stood up and declared how they were not going to support her. I don't remember any African American saying something similar. Perhaps Carson, or Cain, or Justice Thomas.

Jesse Jackson Jr. - still in jail? - specifically demanded that all the members of the Black Congressional caucus aligned themselves with the "brother." And when anyone tried to point this out, well, of course, they were racist.

And, of course, we have pro Hillary posts get alerted while pro Sanders posts stay put. Any post that put doubt in Sanders and cannot really be alerted - or, perhaps does but survives - just sinks.

I don't have problem with Sanders; his heart is in the right place. I just know that he does not have any chance of being elected in the general elections.

Sigh.

and President Obama supporters.

You realize there are a LOT of Obama supporters on here who are for Hillary now?

The damn 2008 primary is over. Obama won.. get over it. That was then this is now.

President Obama and Hillary came together for the good of the country and so have many of their supporters on DU.

And, Hillary needs all the Obama coalition now to WIN! We're working for both of them to win!

I was against Hillary in 2008 but I got over it at the Convention and when Obama chose her to be his SOS I rooted for both of them.

And, yes.. there is a lot of hate on here for Hillary and I've been working to combat it right along with all her supporters from the very beginning.

34. I am glad I wasn't here in 2007- 2008.

I was elsewhere and following ever article and news source I could find. Read and listened to many that wanted to run or were running. I liked many that were there. As for Hillary, I always had the utmost respect for her, yet she was not in my radar back then. Obama was and it was him I focused on.

I was never in a food fight or fray. Most people I knew were supporters.

Yes Cha, I don't like it when people drive a wedge between them now. They were the adults in the room that came to terms. Why? For the betterment of this country and a mutual respect for each other. Yes, they are the adults in the room.

35. Thank you, she. We're all in this together for the heart and soul of our Country and the

Planet! Not even exaggerating. Hillary and President Obama realize that and they're great role models.

What the hell even happened in 2008 is so off my radar.. it's now that's important.

And, Hillary has even more experience to be an excellent President like her predecessor. This is the reality. I cannot wait until they're out their campaigning together in 2016 like they did in 2008.. that is my vision.

38. P.S. I should have added the link with this snip~

"The two senators focused on economic themes at the start of an intensive three-day push in the Sunshine State, a critical battleground that voted for President Bush in the last two elections but where Mr Obama now has a slight edge in the polls.

As Mrs Clinton made a heartfelt appeal to her supporters "to work as hard for Barack as you did for me", her husband, former president Bill Clinton, turned out for Mr Obama nearly 3,000 miles to the west in another battleground, Nevada.

In a trio of stops, Mr Clinton pressed the case for an Obama presidency, arguing he was the candidate best suited to restoring the "American dream" and repairing "America's standing in the world".

13. Hard core Sanders supporters are just going slowly and painfully over the edge....

The recent miserable failure of their hero's "Splainin' Socialism" speech, the stagnant poll numbers, the lack of endorsements and the maddening fact that Hillary Clinton is virtually ignoring him, is enraging them.

The media has desperately tried to dress him up as a viable candidate and are finally having to admit they failed miserably.

I find Sanders to be a blowhard who has accomplished little but keeping open several underutilized post offices open. Nobody cared much about him before and he will be going back to oblivion soon enough. That's the really sad part. He is just a vehicle for their hatred and when he fails to give them the political blood they are after, they will dump him without a second thought.

As you can see I don't use any avatar nor a signature line (probably don't even know how to use the last one).

I have yet to see a post which mocks a Bernie avatar. But it is amazing the number of posts that mock the Hillary logo, or other shapes, like having her on a Bernie T-shirt.

This, I think, more than others show how desperate they are. It is not enough to heap praise by words and symbols. They have to make some that mock Hillary.

baby having a screaming, crying fit because they cannot have their way. "Waaa! I hate Hillary! She is BAAAAAADDDD!!! Let's call her hitler and use insulting graphics of her"!!!! In their defense, Bernie looks like a lunatic in most of his photos so they may be trying, unsuccessfully, to level the playing field.

I like when Sanders Supporters complain that Hillary is attacking Bernie when she is basically ignoring him and rarely even uses his name. They should get so lucky to have someone as famous as Hillary Clinton pay any attention to boring Bernie.

I honestly can't believe thousands of people go to listen to someone yelling my college paper on FDR and call it the modern definition of Socialism!!!! Does he have another speech? "Yada yada, I am FDR 2.0. Yada yada I have nothing specific to say about foreign policy! Yaya yada SHUT THE DOOR ON IT!"

Why I don't post that much any more. The constant attacks, whining that people won't vote for her, the my way or the high way attitude, the placing all of us as Third Way Democrats and I'm still trying to figure out what that means. It's why I'm MIA during the primaries. I'll let my vote for Secretary Clinton speak for itself.

Libertarians were the same way when either of the two Pauls announced, Nader..same thing.
They are the angriest meanest most hate-filled nonprogressive lot in the USA.

I see it every single time.
Its difficult to distinguish them from the RWTPers. The hateful tactics are the same. I guess its because their candidate has nothing to offer that will stand on its own.
Attack & slander. If their candidate was truly as great as they say, they would never need to resort to the vile playbook of KKKarl Rove.
wtf else could drive them to such juvenile underhanded methods.
Its psychotic. Oh yes, I really want a Pres with a psychotic hate group for his base. SAID NO ONE EVER and I'd bet the whole farm that half the HRC haters on DU aren't Bernie supporters in the first place. Half would vote against Bernie & be the first ones to slander his name as they do Hillary Clinton, if Bernie was the GOP opponent in the GE.

A few more months & GDP will disappear along with the freeps & trolls that have jumped in to keep HRC from 2016. She is a threat to the RW trifecta & their Supreme Court Noms.
Thank god for this great brilliant woman of the people, here at home & around the world. As she has always been.

GDP will be gone along with Hillarys noisy contenders.

The GE is where our unified Dem force will stand firm against the fascist RW.
President, Senate, House balanced this time with Dem support for HRC brings us a fair balance in our Supreme Court.

Thing is I like what Bernie has to say, I agree with almost all of it. Hell I'd be happy to vote for him. I am very much a realist though. He's a great man, but he won't win a single primary and if he were to magically get the nomination he'd lose 40 -45 states. The repugs will beat him over the head with the 'socialist' label, and the uninformed electorate will eat it up. Hillary has shown she's is ready and I'm more than happy to support her.

I was a juror on two posts that attacked the supporters. I rarely vote to hide a post, I usually recommend to rebut, but these two were really bad. One indeed, was hidden, the second survived but the thread itself was locked.

It was really pathetic, how a Sanders supporter has been combing the threads here, seeking the ones that raised questions about Sanders, and then posted all these with the links.

I was tempted to suggest that he leaves the board, take a walk outside (weather permitting), read a book or reconnect with friends and family, but was afraid that this would be hidden. How dare I telling another DUer what is good for him..

He may get a bump or a giggle in New Hampshire but he is basically done. He is pretty much being referred to as the "Late Senator Sanders" in the media.

The folks who are whining about not voting for Hillary were probably never going to vote for her. They are an angry little internet minority and will be forgotten very soon.

Let them twist in the wind. Sometimes I give a little poke to see them spin faster.

are low achievers who find it difficult to obtain esteem--from others or even themselves--in real life. The Hillary hatred gives them a larger identity and instant access to an in-group. The more they attack Hillary, the firmer their membership in the group becomes, and the more approval they receive.

And at some point, the hate itself becomes the prize.

52. I love Bernie but I sure as heck will vote for Hillary is she is the nominee. I am getting really

sick and tried of the infighting. I seldom bother to post any more and I refuse to read negative posts about either of them.

54. Everyday there are negative threads against HRC. Even pro-threads are being trashed

The Democratic Party is trashed. Gov. Edwards who just won LA is being trashed.

Ignore is a wonderful feature.

Was going to comment but there are already more than 140 replies.

One had to have lived in the that time, the hope and the pride that JFK brought when he was elected. No no one knows how his presidency would have ended but I remember on New Year eve 1969 - there were summaries about how much hope that decade started and how it ended. Vietnam, assassinations, Chicago convention, Nixon..
