Fmr. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter NH: Clinton best for American middle class

We’ve made a lot of progress in those seven years since President Obama took office. But we’ve still got a long road in front of us.

Rebuilding the middle class will be one of the greatest challenges our next president faces, and anyone who knows my record knows it has been a core focus of mine. Hillary Clinton knows how to make our economy stronger. In New Hampshire, she has given some great speeches on economic fairness, and she has listened carefully. She has heard and seen firsthand the challenges Americans today are facing – and she’s ready to tackle those challenges.

Hillary knows what will help American families — action on goals such as reducing college debt, raising the minimum wage, guaranteeing equal pay, providing paid family leave, lowering child care and health care costs, and protecting Social Security. American families know she is on their side.

I supported President Obama in 2008 because he fought hard for policies to help the rest of us, and I'm supporting Hillary Clinton in 2016 for the same reason. She will defend the progress we’ve made and fight for further gains.

Hillary fights for the rest of us – and I’m ready to fight alongside her for the rest of us also.

able to get some cost control fixes into the ACA

.... The Affordable ACA is not perfect, no new legislation ever is. That's why Congress needs to work together to improve it. Instead of voting repeatedly to repeal it, Republican legislators should be voting on legislation that makes it more effective and efficient for people.

We can’t afford to let anyone rip up the health care reform we fought so hard for. We can't go backwards to a time when insurance companies could deny coverage to people with pre-existing conditions, or charge women more for the same coverage. Political leaders of both parties now need to defend what helps millions of people, and improve, not destroy, policies that work.

I supported the health care law and other policies designed to help American families, and I now support a candidate who will defend that law and stand up for American families.

That person is Hillary Clinton........

Hillary is for Americans first, she will work hard to get bills passed to help our middle class and to increase the pay of Americans.

still got a long road in front of us."

I like how she puts that, HNY. She acknowledges what been accomplished by Pres Obama but knows how much further we have to go with Hillary as our next President.
