Will be Bernie go negative? Is Resignation Setting in?

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/1/26/1475673/-Is-Resignation-Setting-in-Sanders-Lowers-Expectations-for-Iowa-Mythology-He-Must-Win-the-State

"Considering that Iowa and New Hampshire are, demographically speaking, Sanders’ best shots, it is difficult to see how much he can advance if he fails to win Iowa. But, he is apparently preparing for a long slog. He certainly has a right to that. But it would seem, he is trying to manage expectations and prepare for the fact that he will, in fact, lose Iowa.

This from FiveThirtyEight is worth a read — Sanders’ organization in Iowa is lacking, and it may cost him votes.

And the New York Times has also chimed in, outlining severe challenges for Sanders in Iowa. Of specific interest in the Times article is the fact that polls in Iowa conducted from voter rolls consistently show a Clinton lead. Polls of voters at large (i.e. without verifying if they are actually registered) tend to favor Sanders."

end up with 10 fewer delgates than Hillary, since they apportioned based upon turnout of the past two elections.

if that happens.

I seriously don't think Sanders wins Iowa, so it won't be an issue, but they'll still whine about lopsided delegate apportioning.

I just exited an extended argument on another site. They've, so far, trashed Mrs. Clinton, me, the DNC (yet again), and more Democrats than I could (or would take the time to) shake a stick at.

Amusingly, I may be gone, but they're still wasting their time. It's extremely amusing. Number of them volunteering for Bernie: zero.

Monday's gonna be a long day.

The Republicans see Sanders as the most defeatable Democrat in the race. I wouldn't put it past 'em to pinky-swear they're gonna vote for Sanders in the primary, just to skew the polling.

Remember, kids: According to the polls, Thomas Dewey was supposed to beat Harry Truman like a rug. The ONLY poll that counts is the one the government takes on Election Day.

I'm convinced that a lot of the noise surrounding BS is just that. STATIC ROVIAN NOISE! And it's aimed at choosing our nominee. I'll do everything in my power to make sure that NEVER happens.

He's good about covering it with passive-aggressive weasel words that give him an out later when it's needed, but yeah, he's been negative.

The words "Whore of Babylon" have not actually been used about Mrs. Clinton, and I don't expect they will be by the campaign directly. They'll simply let the bernites make the incredibly nasty and tasteless accusations.

Pollsters are likely oversampling unlikely caucus-goers, due to criticism that their models weren't properly reflecting new and previously disengaged voters.

after meeting with president Obama, Sanders was interviewed. He said himself that he does not think he will be able to galvanize the independents like Barack Obama was able to do back in 2008. All the polls that show him close to Hillary are those that assume record participation at the caucuses. He said that if this does not happen he will be struggling..

So, unlike his supporters, he is realistic on that. He also said earlier that if he was to lose the nomination, he would of course support Hillary since she is light years better than any republican. Again, an interesting contrast with the rabbit supporters.
