I'm so weary of all the Hillary bashing.

People can be so meanspirited. It is the mobbish attitude on the rest of the Underground that has me dismayed.
It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't live in a Republican stronghold - Southern Missouri - but I haven't heard a good thing about Hillary Clinton from anyone (outside my own thoughts and a few people who agree) in so long, I begin to question my judgment. And yet, I know that a Hillary presidency would be good for this country. I also can't think of anyone else I would want in the White House at this moment.

That's all I have to say. I'm just so tired of it all.

searching for democratic message boards, are going to see DU, more times than not, as the first search result. And they come here for fellowship, and to ask questions, and they end up in a political level of hell.

I also don't like to see people jumping on every crazy thing they see that may or may not be actually accurate. We used to be pretty strict about sources. That lack of care in what is posted tends to cause a frenzy as people get seriously angry about things that may or may not be remotely true.

How the HELL do people go back to people to whom they have been referring to (their non-preferred candidate) as the devil incarnate, and ask them to come out and vote for that candidate?

Now, I do express my concern with the candidates, when asked; but, am sure to add commentary to the effect of, "Well, that is my concern; but, it is not enough of a concern for me NOT to vote, should {HRC/Sanders} get the Democratic nomination ... because the republican candidate is so much, and by far, unthinkably worse.

The real supporters that are passionate are just fed up with the system, and it can get frustrating when people don't see the world the way you do. I don't think you'd find many Hillary supporters that wouldn't want to live in the world Bernie talks about, we just don't see a way to get there based on his plans.

Bernie's message is not a new one and what I have seen through history is a good number of people fighting ...but many giving up if the changes they want don't come quick enough...

Bernie supporters. They want to drive a wedge between the Bernie and Hillary camps. They want Bernie to win because they think he is easier to beat in the General Election. I'm not saying there are not thousand of Bernie fans and many of them are fanatical. It has gotten to the point, where before I liked him, but now I don't. I live in a red state though I'm a native of NJ, Bully Boy country. I often say I'm a stranger in a strange land. I've also told my husband I'm not dying down here in the Land of Grits. But what I've learned is to choose my fights wisely and close my ears and yes, even my mouth on many occasions. It's not worth getting into a fist fight each and every day. When Gore lost to Bush, I despised the quick 'Get Over It" quip from neighbors and colleagues. But I lived to fight another day.

When it comes to Hillary Clinton I keep in mind that whatever smack I hear, she's heard x 10. Maybe x 100. Yet she's still standing, strong. An inspiration for me and millions of others. The bashing is indeed wearisome. But I see and hear Hillary looking ever energized and fierce and I know she has her finger on something powerful and true and right.

That can keep us all going.

It'll be over soon.

What the adults in the Clinton forum know is that Sanders has no shot at being our nominee. None. Zero.

Hillary will be the nominee and she will win the General. The data are hard to ignore (but many at DU do ignore the data).

Stay here for a bit and only venture to the stupid sections (GD-P and Bernie Group) if you are feeling adventurous. The rhetoric is divisive and toxic. Once Clinton wins most of these folks will be gone through their own accord or through the eventual banning as a result of being anti-Democratic nominee.

I promise...it'll pass and the adults will be in charge yet again.

Hugs.

If you're down for Hillary, then the opinions of others shouldn't matter to your choice of who to support. You're dealing with politics so try to divorce any feelings you may have from this thing and just let it be. Hillary has millions of Americans behind her bid for that alabaster home but this is America so she just as surely has millions that hate her guts and say nasty things about her on the daily. Eventually there will be a nominee and then a new POTUS, then all the love and hate will fluctuate for the next four years with whomever America thinks they chose as the next top dog.

None of it has anything to do with you or I, this is just the game. Both campaigns are now past the point where they can say they're above dirty politics (ridiculous since politics in and of itself is amoral game of mass perception control on both sides), gloves are off now. I for one love this part of the campaign since you get glimpses of the real person under the mask and hopefully see what they're really about.

I say let the hate flow and grab the popcorn
