Help me understand...why would Bernie NOT put money into so many Super Tuesday states?

He clearly has the money, so it really seems that he is not going for a win. Does he just want to stay in the race to have his voice heard? What bothers me is that he only recently became a Democrat, and clearly doesn't have much party loyalty. A loyal party member would see the writing on the wall and step aside to let Hillary concentrate on the GE. The longer he stays in, the less time she has to bring Democrats together, and clearly there is a lot of work to do. Even Rachel commented on it on MSNBC tonight when mentioning the false NYT story about Senator Warren...she said that she had never seen Dems do that before.

It makes one wonder if in the future there should be more strict criteria for who can run in the Democratic primaries.

over the last three days I have seen numerous Bernie adds on local advertisement on CNN, far more than the Hillary ads I saw earlier. So evidently he spent some money here, but Hillary still took over 81% of the vote.

I think he decided to 1) keep the party from splitting by protecting her from a challenge from the left and 2) use the primary as a platform to raise awareness of certain issues.

is that Bernie is out to prove that you can raise huge amounts of money through small donations, more than he is out to win.

That makes some sense, and if true, he's doing a real service to the party and the country.

knew he would lose those states and chose to concentrate elsewhere. I am not so concerned about Bernie staying in. In 08 Hillary stayed in for longer than she should have. It also keeps her pulled to the left. I think her campaign can multi-task. Go after Trump policy wise, and win the primary. By going after Trump she will show primary voters she can beat him in the GE. It will be a delicate line, she doesn't want to go after him too hard, yet. The GOP is doing that. Let the GOP voters get mad at their own leadership and defect. She can not give the voters a reason to blame her for his problems. When your rivals are preparing for a mutiny, the best thing to do is step aside and let them. Not get tangled up in their nets.

even with all the money, he is ignoring them.

Makes one wonder about his true intentions ...
