I like Sanders, but some of his people give hyperbole a whole new meaning.

Of course you hear from some of them that Hillary is everything from the "poster child of the establishment" to, who knows, maybe Lucifer's wife. Endless hyperbolic nonsense.

Now one of them has a post entitled: "Bernie's Michigan win is the biggest political upset in decades. Earth-shattering!" Or something close to that. Seriously, the "biggest political upset in decades"? Some of these people must be on something synthetic.

Bernie Sanders won an open primary in Michigan which, with no disrespect at all to Jesse, voted for Jesse Jackson in 1988 giving him one of his few victories (at that time it was a caucus). In 1988 Pat Robertson won some states, including Washington, in their caucuses. How about Hillary's win over Obama in NH in 2008, similarly defying the polls? How about Jesse Ventura's unexpected win for governor in MN? How about Truman beating Dewey?

Good grief, Sanders won by 1.7%. What happened was the polling firms under-polled young voters and Indies who can vote in that primary. If it was a closed primary, Hillary would no doubt have won by a large margin as she won registered Dems by 18 points in MI.

Those folks really need to get a grip on reality.

I love Michigan, but their primary system is bizarre and defies prediction.

They also apparently had a beautiful spring day and turnout was large (I like large turnouts, so I'm good with that!) Sanders did three huge college campus events within ten days, and that was seen as a very positive GOTV move. That's smart campaigning, and not something Hillary can match, because her strength does not lie in huge rallies (I don't think that's a negative when it comes to the job, because her skill with smaller groups could emerge).

I saw a comment by the Hillary campaign a few days ago that they would be fine even if it were a close race, so their internals must have been showing what happened. And both Sanders and Clinton spoke early, so neither of them were waiting around expecting the win.

Sanders lost ground yesterday. There is no way to spin that as a good thing, unless the 20k-ish MI vote edge gives him a little PR bounce.

7. I've read the exact same comment in several media reports - by reporters and pundits.

Bernie didn't make this up. He was down 30 points two weeks ago and then BOOM! he wins against all odds. Hillary was ready to pivot to the General. Not so fast.

The candidate who is real and tells it like it is. Real Plans Real Solutions. Years of experience and knowledge to get things done.. not just talk about it.
