From Survey USA:

Hillary Clinton leads Bernie Sanders 58% to 34% in the NC Democratic Primary for President of the United States. There is a gender gap: Clinton leads by 14 points among men, but leads by 32 points among women. There is an age gap. Sangers leads by 30 points among younger voters. Clinton leads by 43 points among seniors. Among voters looking for "new ideas," Sanders leads by 36 points. Among voters looking for "experience," Clinton leads by 53 points. It won't be a landslide like Mississippi, Georgia and Alabama were, but I feel HRC will win by mid-double digits. 1) It has a large African-American vote and 2) HRC has already banked a lot of votes from early voting.

circle of friends last Saturday (all Hillary supporters). Nearly everyone I've spoken with has either already voted in person, or by absentee ballot. With any luck, this race will be called early on Tuesday.

They want a grandfather figure who will give them what their parents won't or didn't.

after spending 31 years encouraging college kids to register and vote, my very sad conclusion is that an insignificant minority will actually show up at the polls in November.

Nothing like facing the very real likelihood that you will get shipped off to a senseless war against your wishes to help you develop a keen interest in politics and governance.

To be honest - I really wish young people were more committed to voting. Very sad.
