(360 posts)is voters are just coming around to having a minority on the ticket (Obama and now Clinton), I feel it would be a hard sell to have two minorities on the same ticket.
As much as I admire Julian, just can't see this as the ticket to take the White House. Hillary can get the Latino vote on her own, especially going up against Trump.
To answer the question: I'm leaning towards O'Malley or Strickland.

(19,473 posts)Julian Castro is very appealing, but his lack of experience could be a problem.
Ideally, it would be Clinton-O'Malley for eight years, then O'Malley-Castro for eight more, then Castro-XXX for another eight, and so on. Perhaps by that time the GOP would have reconstituted itself into something marginally acceptable.

We need someone to hit the ground running,in case the unthinkable happens.
As far as the republican party getting their act together,,they continue to be on a negative downward spin,that will take long to recover ♫
