(38,506 posts)Part of her post. It doesn't sound sane:
I am not going to answer the Hillary folk who respond to this thread and will be putting them on ignore. This is my opinion, based (as I said) on my reading of the evidence. She endangered national security, and if she is deemed above the law...

Oh, I don't believe the poster should be banned but hoping for the demise of a Democratic candidate so your Democratic candidate can win when he could never win a fair race is sad!

BlueCaliDem
(15,438 posts)themselves that Bernie has NO PATHWAY to winning the nomination - and boy am I happy about that!
The moment Bernie decided to run as a Democrat despite his remarks that it would be hypocritical of him to do so, he's been running a dishonest campaign.
He uses surrogates to get nasty against true-blue Democrats for dollars and media attention.
Then came the ugly Bernie supporters attacking O'Malley and Hillary supporters and endorsers;
then came the scandal of his top staff stealing millions of dollars of sensitive campaign data from Hillary;
then came the scandal of the Bernie2016 questionable (and illegal) donations from foreign addresses and from donors donations far exceeding the FEC limits (that kills his campaign financing rants of his right there);
then came those millions of dollars of attack ads from Rove's PAC and then the Koch Bros making ads for him and NOT denouncing them;
then came his shocking revelation that he plans to take this all the way to the Convention and even if far behind, will try and siphon super delegates away from Hillary Clinton.
Just imagine, if you will, if Hillary did and said the above? What would the Sanders supporters say? All's fair and love and politics? Yeah, right.
You're so correct pointing out that these people hate Hillary as much as Teapublicans and RWers do than they love Bernie. And it shows.

(11,562 posts)Sanders even came up with a new Hillary Clinton faux scandal to push--the paid, yet secret, Wall Street speeches. He has been pumping that one every time he has a mike in his face. I watched him (via the TV) at a campaign rally, and he was gleefully pushing this. He even had the supporters call back on his cue: "what do we demand to see?" and they shouted out: "the transcripts!" Sanders was smiling--such a rare thing, too!

(9,494 posts)These poor souls aren't just wearing Tin Foil Hats....they are sporting head-to-toe Tin Foil Ensembles!
I don't think they get that their Bernie is Persona Non Grata in the Democratic party.
I like the comments when they are sure Obama is stopping Hillary from being indicted for some imaginary crime so that she can win the nomination but, at the same time he is hoping Bernie would just win already.
They are so consumed with so many opposing delusions that they have melded them together in to a big contradictory mess that, apparently, makes them feel better.
I actually laughed out loud

Posts like the one in the link are the desperate ravings of desperate zealots who know Bernie is old news but who - like children - believe that if they close their eyes, stomp their feet and wish hard enough their dreams will come true.
A classic case of hero worship of a guy with a Messiah complex.
DemocratSinceBirth
(99,708 posts)Notice how their scenarios under which Bernie gets the nomination become less democratic, with a small d of course.

(2,331 posts)Who actually believes Hillary's delegates would vote for Bernie at the convention?
DemocratSinceBirth
(99,708 posts)They would vote for Biden en masse.
I haven't met one Hillary supporter who says Bernie is their second choice. He wouldn't even be my tenth choice; O'Malley, Biden, Kerry, Warren, Brown, Gore, .... Gillibrand, et cetera.
They must not know pledge delegates are chosen for their loyalty and work for the candidate they are pledged to...They are political dilettantes.
Trenzalore
(2,331 posts)DemocratSinceBirth
(99,708 posts)The party sets the rules. They can do what they want. The government doesn't control political parties nor their nominating process. In their dream scenario the delegates would be released from their pledges after the first round of voting. After that they can vote for whomever they want. I assure they will go to Joe Biden who is more attuned to her followers than the Vermont independent can ever be...
It's a farce...
charlyvi
(6,537 posts)For them to think representatives, governors, senators, even Obama and Biden would flip to support Bernie is less realistic than fantasy. For them to flip over to support a man who has been a Dem for about 10 minutes against a woman who has worked for the Party more than 30 years is delusional. Even if they were tied in pledged delegates, the supers wold stay with Hillary. Conventional wisdom says that Bernie is winning voters under 30; I would disagree. He's winning the voters under 30 that are bothering to come out and vote. Those folks are by no means a majority of the under 30 demographic, which, by the way, is notorious for staying home on election day.
Trenzalore
(2,331 posts)They felt it would be more impactful to have some mythical million person march on Washington. They don't get how the process works and every time they are presented with a rule that has long been established they think the rule was written last month to thwart their revolution.
I think it is time for there to be a change in the Chairperson of the Democratic Party but the bile they throw at Wasserman Schultz for enforcing long existing rules is something else.

(6,537 posts)But they have taken that honorable ideal and pushed it to such an extreme that it has now become almost its opposite. Kind of like that Vietnam guy who said they had to "destory the village to save it". They wanted Bernie to win for honorable reasons. Now they have taken winning to mean victory at all costs. Lying, demonizing the "other", ignoring the agreed upon rules, threatening to vote against their opponent rather than for their cause. They have turned the campaign into a caricature of what they started with.
DemocratSinceBirth
(99,708 posts)It is sad that victory for them now rests on having their opponent indicted or overturning the will of the people. It only strengthens my resolve.
DemocratSinceBirth
(99,708 posts)Bernie keeps braying about polls. Until he has been vetted by the Republicans polls mean nothing... Dukakis came out of the 88 Convention leading by seventeen points and lost by eight points. That's a twenty five point swing...
In any case HRC isn't going to be indicted, and in the infinitesimal chance she is, her delegates and the supers would go to the loyal Democrat and sitting president.
charlyvi
(6,537 posts)Until he goes through the RW sausage grinder that Hillary has conquered, polls mean nothing.

BTW, I can think of lots of things other than "Cassandra" to call her. They'd all get a hide, though.

(4,787 posts)Bit of exquisite irony there: using Wiki Leak's something-or-other, stolen in violation of an oath, and given to third parties w/o the slightest concern for the consequences of doing that, to accuse Sec Clinton of endangering National Security! (And effectively accusing PBO of concealing her 'evil' deeds.)

(41,832 posts)The FBI is not investigating Hillary. They are investigating the server.
The State department has said she didn't violate policy.
The DOJ said she had every right to delete her personal emails.
This is a fake controversy ginned up by the media, the right-wing, and unfortunately by her left-wing detractors.
It's unfortunate that some on the left actually hope that there is something there. They really, really want something bad
to happen to Hillary.

(2,100 posts)Not here on DU thankfully. My fear is they will infest other online sites with calls to boycott the election, spouting more outrageous smears and RW claims against HRC, trying to get people to believe that a vote for HRC would be worse than Trump. And some people will buy into it of course. The background noise will mimic right-wing radio and the stupider people will begin to actually believe that HRC is unlikeable, dishonest, has a love-child with Vince Foster and pays people hush money from her vast Whitewater profits to keep quiet about it. They can have their little march and hold a few protests, then they should go away. My fear is that they won't.
It will be interesting to see how soon they throw Bernie under the bus when he comes out in support of Clinton and urges his disciples to vote for her. After all, anyone who supports Clinton must be vile, greedy and corrupt. Or just too plain stupid to know what's good for them.
