"The reality of politics is that donors stop giving to losing campaigns. Sanders will have no choice but to call it quits when the money dries up."

The convention is the week of July 25th.

I doubt his cash will last for 4 more months. He could save the middle class some money by being honest and admitting he has no chance at the nomination. Also he could quit paying Ted Devine $850,000 a month.

But if they keep sending him money he can keep his ego trip on the road a bit longer I guess.

3. "Nearly half of those contributions are from people who gave $200 or more"

So how in the world can the average donation be only $27 as Sanders claims? Sounds like Sanders is lying. Again.

Oh, and there's this little gem from the article:

Sanders is hoping to achieve success by persuading Hillary Clinton’s pledged delegates to defect. His plan has been called a fantasy and roundly criticized by election experts.

Can you imagine the screams of outrage from the Sanders camp if Hillary was talking about flipping pledged delegates?

Also this
under federal campaign finance law, disclosure is required on contributions over $200. Thus, the $35 donations do not appear in violation. However, given the relativey small population of D.C. and the lack of support for Sanders among legislators, the 300K individual contributions do appear highly questionable, its unreal

I just don't trust him....

9. He's talking about individual acts of donation

Imagine you wanted to recruit 1000 people including yourself to each donate $2700 to A Man Of The People. He won't look very man-of-the-peopleish if he receives a thousand $2700 checks, now will he? But if each of you sits down at your computer and shoots off 135 $20 donations, he can claim two true things: that he received 135,000 individual donations (which means he's super popular and well loved), and that his average donation is $20 (which means the common man is voting for him with his wallet). In reality, a thousand people with $2700 in the bank funded his campaign...but the rest of us don't have to know unless we want to crawl through MOTP's FEC filings.

10. What he's not telling us is how many people have given $27 over and over again....

...ten $27 contributions from the same person is $270. In his mind it counts as ten, as far as the FEC is concerned it's one contributor.

7. Wow! Half his donors are high dollar and not the $27 per he falsely claims

And $23,000,000 of spending from the campaign donations is unaccounted for..."unitemized expenses"

11. Those items were related to improper donations

and not campaign spending to clarify. I first thought when I scanned the stories that the donations were being "berned" through and not properly accounted for, but when a manager makes more than $800,000 in a single month--that money is enriching Sanders' campaign staff. Same diff, but the 23 million was all improper donations.
I understand the money will be returned.

I think my respect meter hit zero when this stuff started coming out. No better
way to lose respect than be a colossal hypocrite...
