Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumYou know, Idaho and Utah are just as red as the Deep South
But they will be painted as stunning wins for Bernie! Wins that restore his momentum! Votes that really, really matter. And they won't see the hypocrisy at all. As if a win in Alabama or Mississippi is somehow inferior to one in an equally red state in the West. It sure takes a heaping spoonful of selective reasoning to be a berniedude. Like saying Bernie is the only one that can win the General even though he can't beat Hillary in the primary. Who does he think will vote for him if not Dems; you know, the ones now voting for Hillary. It's crazy!

(1,048 posts)Hillary supporters need to stop responding and doing the tit for tat from Sanders supporters. Let them demonize Hillary Clinton. Let them try and discredit the south. Let them say whatever. The math is the math and I don't give a damn if there's a whole bunch of people who haven't voted yet. The bottom line is that she has a bigger lead than Obama had over her in 2008 and there's still a number of large states left with diverse populations that will FURTHER seal her win. There's no need to engage at this point. I was done with the engagement after they tried discrediting the Black vote and why its so much in favor for Hillary. All Hillary has to do is meet her targets and she's good. And once again, I say all this as an undecided voter who doesn't vote until the end of April and could still see myself voting for Bernie Sanders.
But some of the crap being spewed...why even bother to engage?

(3,825 posts)Welcome to the DU. We once had a wonderful lady in the early years named Crewleader, and she would always welcome newbies to the board. If you're still here Crew, please give us a shout out! I miss ya.

(5,044 posts)But I give a YUGE round of applause to Bernie, he's turning it out in those states. I've no problem complementing him if he's registering new voters. The democratic party comes first, anyone who claims or suggests anything else should be banned from DU.
I love that our girl is fundraising like a mad person for down ballot dems, we rise and fall together!

Utah pop: 2.9 mil
Arizona pop 6.9 million
Not all are voters in these numbers, but she still is waaay ahead in the total vote count. And she took the largest state.
