Hillary Clinton on Bernie Sanders: He Gets the Crowds, I Get the Votes

EVERETT, Wash.—Bernie Sanders may have more people at his rallies—like, a lot more– but Hillary Clinton wants you to know she’s gotten more votes.

Speaking ahead of election results in three states Tuesday, the Democratic front-runner voiced a boastful note about her dominance in presidential race. She also sounded a bit peeved at the months-long commentary that holds that Mr. Sanders’s support is more enthusiastic.

“I totally respect the passion of my opponent’s supporters, absolutely respect it,” she told backers at a union hall here. “And here’s what I want you to know. I have, as of now, gotten more votes than anybody else, including Donald Trump. I have gotten 2.6 million more votes than Bernie Sanders.”

She didn’t end it there. “I have a bigger lead in pledged delegates, the ones you win from people voting, than Barack Obama had at this time in 2008,” she said, concluding, “So we are on the path to the nomination and I want Washington (state) to be part of how we get there.”

as though that's what determines a del's vote. Each time I hear that I'm reminded of Trump's smear about Hillary's "stamina" and strength. I find the ridiculous use of those words in this context to be flavored with misogyny.

They think they are so clever and that we don't recognize all the dog whistles that could possibly be thrown against our candidate!

How would BS or Trump handle (themselves) 11 hours of partisan interrogation!? Quit mid way or hurl epithets or throw a tantrum!

He'll realize he just burned his reputation for a couple bucks and a little adulation, while the solid majority of Democrats now consider him not worth their time.
