Good week for Hillary

Despite her WI loss (which wasnt exactly a "win" for Bernie) she has come out swinging and finally the kid gloves are coming off. In the span of three days Bernie has a trainwreck of an interview, is called out for saying Hillary is unqualified, and of course got caught pretending to be a "native New Yorker". Hillary is in great position to pick up a solid win in NY likely knocking Sanders out of legitimate contention. I suspect the debate will be like the others, Sanders repeating his one single talking point no matter the issue, and Hillary offering pragmatic solutions to this nations problems. Though I also suspect Sanders sensing its now sudden death for him will go hard at Clinton which will backfire. He will tow the usual Berniebot talking points while throwing in some nasty jabs. Exposing him as a hot tempered ill-equipped candidate.

Final realistic NY prediction?

Oh look! A Berniebot!

Why are you posting in a protected group? Just to stir up trouble? THat would be par for the course for Sanders supporters.

I am from NJ so I don't claim to be a NYer. However NYers aren't so much different from those who live in NJ. People around my area don't like people pretending to be "one of them". In fact being from NJ I still find it quite insulting only NOW he is playing the "born in the Bronx" angle. Honestly I had no idea he was even born there, I always considered him to be "from Vermont".

And it really disgusts me how he is going to great lengths to basically say Hillary has cared little for and done nothing for NY. Both Bill and Hillary were right at the front during 9/11 and after, doing everything they could to help the city recover.

Ok Im going to stop type or I will go on a 5 page rant lol.

I lived in NY 30yrs and just recently moved to CO so my heart is still a NYer... NJ has the same heart and his unqualified statement of Hillary is really a knock on NY: she worked hard for us for 8yrs and that makes her unqualified for President?

He will not win NY...

His wife, Jane "Still Lookin for those Tax Returns" Sanders, went on the Rachel Maddow show tonight to try to smooth things over. Jane said he "shouldn't have used that word" (unqualified). Yet Sanders and Weaver are only doubling down. The Sanders camp needs to coordinate talking points a little better.

I'll bet Weaver/Devine brought her in for "reprogramming" after that very obvious gaff.

And, they'll be back tripling down on the "unqualified" meme in today's news cycle.

She told Rachel she was making "making a bigger deal out of this than it is." And all this with a smile on her face. Then she said Bernie doesn't think Hillary is unqualified and that what he was saying was that "if Hillary was going to call him unqualified" then we should look at Hillary's Wall Street money and talk about Hillary's qualifications. Of course, Sanders didn’t use the word "if"," so she is just making shit up. Then she accused the Clinton campaign of a months-long strategy of trying to "disqualify" Bernie and that is what drove Bernie's remarks.

In other words, Jane lied like a rug.

She of course brought up Hillary's "Wall Street PAC money," and implied that is why Hillary is going in a "different direction" than Bernie. Maddow did not challenge her on that at all either.

I know they're all slimy.. seems you can't be in that bunch without it.

You probably saw this.. just a reminder of jane sanders on President Obama

Whoa: Jane Sanders' Interview with Chris Hayes

Jane Sanders, who is married to Bernie Sanders, did an interview with MSNBC's Chris Hayes last night, and it was something. And by "something," I mean "super shitty."

Sanders: Well, the age of the Obama coalition was two thousand eight. This is two thousand sixteen. And we'll see either the Sanders coalition, or the Clinton coalition. Uh, I think that it's— You're absolutely right; we need to reach the, uh, the African American voter better. As I said, they're not that familiar with them—with Bernie. What we've done is, um, try to reach the working class voter, uh, the middle class voter, and not go, uh, not divide and, and, and reach out to individual sectors of the community. The Latino community, the African American community, the women, the men, the—the young. Um, but we have to do a better job on that. Um, and we know that, and we are going forward. I think if you look at the, uh, election results of yesterday, you'll see that we were—we had increased, uh, significantly with the Latino vote. Um, and in terms of the wide discrepancy, the same discrepancy holds true with Bernie against Clinton in terms of anybody under 30, no matter what race, what ethnicity—

http://www.shakesville.com/2016/03/whoa-jane-sanders-interview-with-chris.html

I can only guess that the BS camp is going around trying to wipe out their previous history disparaging President Obama because the geniuses there finally figured out their losing fucking votes because of it. Too late.

Thank you, SunSeeker

...that Back Bench Bernie will be mathematically DONE within a few more weeks. In the course of this primary campaign, I've lost every bit of respect that I ever had for him. It seems that he hasn't seen a single Republican/teabagger smear that he doesn't love. His recent campaign style certainly seems to have been ripped from the Lee Atwater/KKKarl Rove playbook!

I will say again that he has neither the personal toughness nor the smarts to ever compete in a national campaign against non Vermont Republicans.

PEACE!

He rips right wing talking points and nonsense and claims it as fact. Of course only the ones specific to Clinton. I also believe this is in his campaigns last few weeks and he knows it. So of course he is going to lash out and do what he can to smear her. And also to hide the simple fact he cannot even give a basic idea of "how" he will implement his fantasy legislation.

You think Hillary's Team doesn't know that? I'm guessing rove gladly loaned it to them.. they do not want to run against Hillary.
