admit to, that makes sense as to why NOT release the returns. After all, if you're wealthy yourself, it takes away from your "everyman" approach.

We don't know the details of his expenses and deductions so the document is basically useless.

Whatever it is that Bernie is hiding, it must be incredibly damaging.

Thank you for the correction, Walk away.

I can't believe he would think he wouldn't have to release his tax returns.. did he learn nothing from mitt Romney? Can you believe we're even having this conversation about mr pure?

I get that he's not inclined to reveal his tax returns, but I think that NOT producing them is likely to cause more harm to his campaign that ACTUALLY producing them.

So, the more I think about it, maybe it's actually a GOOD THING that he's being so cagey and secretive and dragging his feet on this.

Please continue, Senator.

....and securities, all part of dreaded "Wall Shtreet"!

And if he has those investments in "Savings Plans", he failed to reveal them on his FEC filings as "assets".

and we might never see a tax release.

Bernie could maintain his "populist" credentials while conceding - the "corrupt, rigged system" took him out, just as he forecast.

And we'll never know for sure he is a 1%er!

All his lfe he's had just one message, and has delivered it passionately. Share the wealth, share the wealth, people with money are oppressors! One size fits all, very little nuance.

But he was born and raised poor, and as my husband said when I told him about the 3 houses, "What's the poor man's capitalism?" It's real estate, my friends. That and retirement plans, which are invested in the stock market these days. By gods, I know that.

I read the article. There's nothing there to be ashamed of, as far as anyone can determine at this point.

What there is, though, is a man and his wife who have done pretty well for themselves. I do not know, and no on can know just now, whether he shared his wealth with any charities. He seems to not believe in them, as such, because his ideology/religion says that the State should be doing that stuff -- and there is film showing him saying that.

The problem is the simple-mindedness of his message. Bernie Sanders is the dog who caught the car, and now he has to figure out wtf comes next, including publishing his tax returns. You may quote me on that.
