Venezuela: Rural workers rally for Land Law

Farmers and rural workers rallied yesterday in defence of land reforms that the incoming opposition-led parliament wants to repeal.
Right-wing Democratic Unity Roundtable deputy Julio Borges opposes the law, which allows uncultivated farmland to be expropriated for reuse.
Campesino Front spokesman Edixon Sousa said: “What we want is harmony in the country that lets the campesinos continue working in the agriculture sector.”
