San Juan, Jan. 20 (EFE) .- Premier Automotive Export, headed by John Felder, a Cayman dealer, will be the first US auto company to export US electric cars to Cuba.

US-based Premier Automotive Export, and a subsidiary of Cayman Automotive, may already be bringing these vehicles by the end of January.

At least it has informed the newspaper "Cayman Compass , " which reveals that this will be possible after the United States Department of Commerce grant a license for four years, to export vehicles of US production on the island.

The newspaper reveals that the license was granted on January 9 and states that the first vehicle to be exported will be an electric Nissan Leaf, which will go to the embassy of Guyana in Havana.
