Construction begins on Hotel Prado and Malecón in Havana

The construction of the luxury hotel Prado and Malecón in Havana has already begun and the work is expected to be completed by the end of 2018, according to information provided by Diario de Cuba.

The building will have 218 rooms with views of the nautical landscape, the fortress of San Salvador de la Punta and the castle of Three Magicians of the Morro.

The site will be managed by the French hotel companies Gaviota and Accor, which runs more than 4,000 hotels in more than 90 countries.

The works will be carried out by the Union of Military Constructions (UCM), the real estate company Almest, the importer (TECNOTEX) and the Military Project Company (EMPI), all belonging to the GAESA military consortium, as well as the giants Bouygues International Batiment (BBI).
